David Luffman, 55, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed on July 29, 2023 after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.

  David and his twin brother, Darryl, were born on June 24,1968 at Dickson General Hospital in Dickson, Tn. Their parents are Glenda Mattern and the late Carlton R. Luffman.

 David graduated Hickman County High School in 1986 and attended Columbia State University.

  On June 3,1989 he married Emily Siebuhr of Greenville, Illinois. They were together for 34 years.

 Mr. Luffman Worked in medical tech support for several years and completed his working career as a server at the Hermitage Golden Corral for 13 years. 

 He was known for a sense of humor that knew no limit, his caring heart and contagious smile. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, his faith carried him through the toughest of times. This fueled his positive outlook and grateful attitude that pulled him along and inspired others. David will be greatly missed by all.

 Mr. Luffman Is survived by his wife, Emily of Nashville; his mother, Glenda Mattern of Centerville; his sister and brother-in-law, Trevor and Amy Qualls Of Centerville, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. 

 He is preceded in death by his paternal  grandparents, Hubert and Ruby Luffman; his maternal grandparents, J.T. and Edna Tyler; his father, Carlton Ray Luffman, his brother Darryl Luffman and his step brother Shannon Batbee.

 A graveside memorial will be held August 26, 2023 at 2 P.M. in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in  McEwen, Tennessee.
