David Alston, 62, of Brooklyn, New York, passed on March 25, 2021. David was born on March 31, 1958. He leaves behind his mother, Lillian Alston-Green of Brooklyn NY, father Joseph Alston of Pocotaligo SC, stepfather Clinton Green of Brooklyn NY, daughter Camanda Alston of Binghamton NY, grandson Jamel Harris and grandaughter Cevyn Durham of Binghamton NY, aunt Miriam McDonald of Detriot MI, brother and sister in law Timothy and Tina Alston of Camden DE, sister and brother in law Earthell and Vinnie McNeil of Fayetteville NC, sister Teresa Fignole of Conway SC, brother Willie Green Sr of Brooklyn NY, brother and sister in law Malphus and Ruby Green of Brooklyn NY and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. David grew up and attended school in Brooklyn. He spent time in the United States Marines. He enjoyed skiing, ice skating, hiking, computers, music, camping and was an exceptional swimmer.
