David Q. Fong David was born on October 24, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa to How WO "Tony" Fong and Fayla Fong who predeceased him. He died on December 6, 2016. He is survived by his wife Chris, sons Robert (Lori) and Michael and his siblings Judith Mitchels (Howard Anderson), Diana Fong, and Howard Fong (Lis). David was a produce manager and buyer for over 30 years for Super Valu in Des Moines, Iowa and Tacoma. He was known as the "banana man".
