David Smith, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 25, 2024, in Westwood, Massachusetts, United States. He was born on April 12, 1945, to Leonard J Smith and Dorothy W Smith.

David married his loving wife Joanne Burr Smith in 1967, and together they raised two wonderful children, Todd D Smith and Sarah W Smith. Todd is survived by his wife Elieen L Smith. David was also a proud grandfather to one grandchild.

David attended Wellesley High School and graduated in 1963. He continued his studies at the University of Maine, where he graduated in 1967. He went on to have a successful career at Engineering Sales, retiring in 2014.

David was not only dedicated to his family and career but also to helping others. He was actively involved in the Young Life Christian outreach to high school kids organization, where he made a positive impact on many young lives.

In his free time, David enjoyed practicing Karate and skiing. He had a passion for these hobbies and found joy in pursuing them throughout his life.

David Smith will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit, his dedication to his family, and his commitment to helping others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

David Smith passed away due to natural causes. May he rest in peace.
