BISHOP DAVID ARNETT, JR. was born in Sylvania, Georgia on January 23, 1944, to the late Catherine Arnett and David Arnett, Sr.

Bishop Arnett retired from Badische Corp (BASF) and Copper Tools; and was employed at Sylvania Funeral Home until his health began to fail.

In October 1995, Bishop Arnett along with his wife, Gloria, founded True Love Tabernacle Deliverance Center.

The Lord began blessing True Love in many ways under the guidance of Bishop Arnett, the church moved from having Bible Study in homes to worshiping at the location on Singleton Avenue to the current church edifice on East Ogeechee Street, and the church continues to experience much growth.

On June 03, 2023, Bishop Arnett passed from glory to reward.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Arnett.

David leaves to cherish his memories: children, Darin (Gracie) Arnett, Rickey (Stacey) Arnett, Shalonda (Terrance) Thomas and Aaron Arnett; sisters, Elaine Arnett, Paulette (Russell) Washington and Lueverda (Curtis) Thomas; brother, Andrew Arnett; brothers-in-law, Jerald Burgess and George Lowery; sister-in-law, Diane Evans; grand children, Amaria Thomas, Deja Thomas, RJ Arnett, and Tanji Arnett ; six great grandchildren; and a host of other family members, church members and friends.
