David A. GaudetStuart, FLDavid A. Gaudet, 85, of Palm City, Florida passed away peacefully on February 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.Mr. Gaudet served our nation honorably and with distinction during the Korean Conflict. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars. He volunteered and served with the 82nd airborne unit in Korea, he achieved his parachute wings, Combat Infantry Badge w/three campaigns. He was also awarded the Bronze Star with Valor.David was born on February 21, 1931in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1960 with a BBA in Mechanical Engineering. He began his career with American Can, Continental Group and retired from Silgan Holdings as a V.P. of Manufacturing & Technologies in 1994. His passions in life were golfing and boating.Mr. Gaudet is survived by his loving wife of 62 years; Martha Fenlason Gaudet of Palm City, Florida, son; John (Christiana) Gaudet of Stuart, Florida, daughter; Linda(Keith) Udal of Willimantic, Connecticut and son; David Melvin Gaudet of Taos, New Mexico. Brother; Gregory Gaudet of Park City, Utah and sister; Phyllis Mullins of Reading, Massachusetts, and six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his parents; John Earnest and Mary Irene Gaudet, by Brothers; Edward and George Gaudet and sister; Elizabeth Alliot.A celebration of life will be held at 1PM on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida,with Treasure Coast Hospice Chaplain Omo Okekaro. Military Honors will be observed. Memorial donations may be made to the or the in Memory of David A.
