David Mitchell, a beloved member of the Pikeville community, passed away on October 2, 2024 at the age of 70. Born on March 12, 1954, David lived a long and fulfilling life. He was known for his kindhearted nature and his unwavering dedication to his family, friends and neighbors. He is survived by five sons and two daughters, 15 brothers and one sister, several nieces and nephews, and many grandchildren. David will be remembered for his passion for helping others and his infectious smile that could light up any room. His legacy of compassion and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. David Mitchell will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. There will be a private memorial service for his family held at their family cemetery in Pikeville.
