David Jones Sr of Meridian, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at the age of 95.

David was born on March 8, 1930, to proud parents David Carter and Shirley Jones. He was the beloved husband of Betty Jones and together they raised three wonderful children: David Jr, Beverly, and Elizabeth.

David will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious smile, and love for his family. He adored his eight grandchildren and always made sure they were spoiled with love and affection.

In his free time, David enjoyed fishing, watching old Western movies, and tinkering in his workshop. He had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest.

David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
