Dashawn Griffin, born on March 20, 2006, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on April 17, 2024, at the young age of 18. He was the beloved son of Corey Brown and Brianna Griffin. Dashawn had no children of his own but had a loving family that meant the world to him.

He attended Northwestern High School and graduated in 2024 before continuing his studies at Wayne State University. Dashawn had a bright future ahead of him and was passionate about his studies and his dreams of a successful career.

Aside from his studies, Dashawn also enjoyed working in construction. He found joy in creating and building things with his own two hands. His hard work and dedication in his job were truly admirable.

In his free time, Dashawn loved playing with his family members and spending quality time with his girlfriend. He had a deep love for those close to him and cherished the moments shared with them.

Tragically, Dashawn's life was cut short when he was shot and killed around 3:25 PM near Davison and Dexter. His untimely death has left his family and friends devastated, as they mourn the loss of a kind-hearted and promising young man.

Dashawn Griffin will always be remembered for his infectious smile, his kind spirit, and his determination to succeed. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
