Darrell Robinson, 60, of Detroit, Michigan, passed on December 31, 2021. Darrell was born on May 03, 1961. Born to loving parents Lisa and Kenneth Robinson at Henry Ford Hospital, Darrell has always been surrounded by love and support. It showed in his daily approach to life in taking care of those close to and around him. Darrell always had an interest in the greater good, which led him to a career in criminal law. Wanting to understand better so he could help make a difference in the rough streets of Detroit. Darrells career eventually led him to becoming a police officer in his beloved hometown, where he served 25 years as an officer for the City of Detroit Police Department.

In addition to his partner Janice, he is survived by his children, Janay, Mark, Amir, Asia, and his step children Cerise and Shane.

Funeral services will take place at Trinity Chapel on January 6th, 2022. There will be visitation at the same location on January 5th, 2022 beginning at 3pm. Darrells children will be on site to welcome loved ones.
