Darleen Fay Talbert, 79, a resident of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, in Clarksville. She was born June 16, 1945, to the late Leslie Talbert and Agatha (Denniston) Bremer in Brighton, Colorado.


Darleen was a graduate of Derby High School in Derby, Kansas. She had given most of her working years to the United States Postal Service, and was a member of the American Postal Workers Union in Kansas. She also obtained a degree from the Professional Beauty College in Kansas in 1964. Darleen loved her son dearly and enjoyed listening to country music and painting. Her caring, and loving nature will be remembered by all that knew her.


She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-brother, Curtis Bremer; and step-father, Ernest Bremer.


The family left to cherish her memory include her son, Leslie Talbert of Clarksville; and two brothers, Larry and Gordon Talbert, both of Wichita, Kansas.


A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel.


The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2024, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville.
