We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Darell Johnson, who passed away on December 14, 2026, at the age of 61 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on June 27, 1965, to Darell T. Johnson Sr. and Katherine Johnson, Darell was known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and love for Indianapolis sports teams.
Darell married his high school sweetheart, Pamela Moore-Johnson, in year 35, and together they raised their son, Darnell Johnson. Darell was a devoted father and husband, always ready with a joke to make his family smile.
After studying at Crispus Attucks High School, Darell pursued a career as a welder. He was known for his skill with a blow torch and his ability to fix just about anything with his trusty welding machine.
Despite his love for life, Darell ultimately succumbed to Natural Causes. In his memory, let us remember the joy and laughter he brought to all who knew him. He may be gone, but his jokes and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Rest in peace, Darell. May your welding torch always burn bright in the great beyond.
