Livy, Daniel "Dan",68, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at his home in North Carolina. Dan was born on February 17, 1949 to Douglas and Nora Livy in Birmingham, MI. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife, Dori Livy. Mr. Livy leaves behind to cherish his memory, sons, Nick (Danielle) Livy of Apex, NC and Mitch (Eri) Livy of Dana Point, CA; grandson, Brooks Livy; and brothers, John and Doug "Deke". Dan was happiest on the water in one of his many boats, with his co-captain, Dori. He had an intense passion for music, showcased through an extensive collection of records, CDs, and tapes. His support for Michigan State sports never wavered, no matter what the season brought. His dedication to his family and love for his friends will always be remembered and carry on for generations. A service will be held at Saint James Church in Birmingham, MI, at a date to be determined.
