Henke, Daniel F.Daniel F. Henke age 61 of Amherst Junction WI passed away early Thursday morning May 4th, 2017 at Agrace Hospice Center in Madison WI. Dan was born on February 1, 1956 the son of Julian and Alice (Hintz) Henke. Both parents preceded him in death along with his sister Julie ( Henke ) Konkol. Dan enjoyed watching sports with his favorite teams, the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. He had a number of pets through the years and enjoyed having a dog by his side. Dan also enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle in the great outdoors of his hometown area. Dan attended Amherst High School and graduated in 1974. He lived and worked in California for a number of years, but returned to the Amherst Junction area working for Worzalla Publishing until 2016. Dan is survived by his four brothers, Russell (Doris) Henke of Sun Prairie WI, Robert ( Peggy ) Henke of Amherst Junction WI, Thomas ( Carol ) Henke of Amherst Junction WI, Richard ( Cindy ) Henke of Amherst Junction WI, and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. A private Memorial Gathering will be held by the family at a later date. The family wishes to thank the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Agrace Hospice Center in Madison WI for the loving care they gave Dan.
