It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Daniel Russo, who was born on June 1, 1985, in Collinsville, Illinois. He tragically left us on September 27, 2024, due to a senseless act of violence that took his life.

Daniel was the son of John and Connie Russo, a loving brother of Amy, and the loving boyfriend of Katie. Although he had no children of his own, he was a cherished member of his extended family and a devoted friend to many.

Daniel attended Collinsville High School, where he graduated in 2003. He then pursued his passion for justice by attending the Saint Louis University School of Law, graduating in 2006. He went on to work as a dedicated and talented family lawyer, using his knowledge and skills to help others.

Known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and kind heart, Daniel brought joy and light into the lives of those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
