EDEN - Daniel "Danny" D. O'Dell, 55, passed away December 25, 2019 at his home. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday December 31, 2 pm at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in The Martin Family Cemetery in Sandy Ridge, NC. Visitation will be held Monday evening, December 30, from 6 pm until 8 pm also at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.

"Danny" was born April 25, 1964 in Savannah, GA to the late Grady Cecil O'Dell and Mary Faye Caldwell O'Dell. He also was a jack of all trades. He worked at Jay Johnson Motors, worked for Shane Hensley and also worked at Billy Banks Racing. He loved cars but most of all he loved his girls.

He is survived by his beloved wife Rhonda O'Dell; his daughters, Danielle, Morgan and Kaylee O'Dell of Eden; Step Children, Amanda, Russell and Robbie Horton and wife Michelle of Eden; grandchildren, Jayden, Sylus and Aniyah O'Dell, Tyler, Ethan and Eli Horton of Eden; sisters, Diana O'Dell of Mayodan, Dwanda and husband Kenneth Martin of Sandy Ridge; brother Donnie O'dell of Sandy Ridge; nieces, Jessica, Megan, Kristin and Kyley, and a nephew Dalton; Special friends, Luke, Billy, Shane, Crump and Jay; special children, Evan, Cody, Logan, Tanner, Teegan, Jared and Robbie. Preceding him in death are his parents, and niece Adrienne Austin.
