Damend "Dee Dee Neal" Pollard, a beloved father, son, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, at 54. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on March 16, 1971, Dee Dee’s life was a testament to his unwavering love for his family and his enduring spirit.

Dee Dee’s quick wit and infectious laughter brightened every room he entered. He possessed a sharp mind and a generous heart, always finding ways to bring joy to those around him, even amidst life's challenges. He was a devoted father to his daughters, De'Asia, De'Onna, and Jada, and cherished his role as a grandfather to Kae'Nan, MaZiyah, DaVuan, Lamont, Zyon, and Dailah. His love for his children was immeasurable, a driving force in his life that fueled his persistent efforts to provide for them. He strived to be the best father and son he could be, always putting his family first.

He is survived by his mother, Phyllistine Johnson; his sister, Letitia Pollard; his daughters, De'Asia, De'Onna, and Jada; and his six cherished grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

While his life was shorter than any of us would have wished, Dee Dee lived it fully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family. His memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those he left behind. Though his physical presence is gone, the imprint of his kind heart and generous spirit will remain. We celebrate his life and express our gratitude for the time we were blessed to share with him.

A celebration of Dee Dee’s life will be held on June 7, 2025, at Fresh Word Ministry located on 119 South Fifth Street, Duquesne, PA 15110. Services will be led by Paster Trenton Neal.
