Remembering the Life, Death, And Sports Legacy of Damarlo Belcher.
DaMarlo Deshon Belcher, was born October 4, 1988, in Fort Wayne, IN son of the late Russell Dedeaux Jr. and mothers Theresa Belcher and Cynthia Bennett. He recieved his crown of glory on Feburary 15, 2022.
He confessed to Christ at an early age. Damarlo graduated from Northside High School Class of '07. He attented Indiana University in Bloomington, IN where he studied Sports Management and continued his football career. He will be remembered by his values and lessons of hard work, honesty, ruthless integrity, and an ability to face adversity and challenges with calm, stoic bravery. He took those lessons to heart, striving for achievement in both his professional and personal life through his love and passion for sports. Damarlo was very athlethic playing baseball, basketball, track, and football. Former teams include: Wild Cats, IJN AAU, North Side High School, Indiana University, AstroTurf NFLPA football and the Toronto Air Knox.
Damarlo set the North Side single season record with 688 recieving years in 2006. In Addition, he earned two letters in basketball and collected first team SAC and all-area honors in 2007. Belcher also Claimed the team's rebounding award in the same season.
Belcher ended his time in Bloomington with 2,225 recieving yards and 12 touchdowns and he sits No. 2 all time in program history in career receptions. Belcher totaled a career-high 882 yards during the 2010 campaign after catching a career-high five touchdowns on top of 770 yards in 2009.

A Special Mother Andella Starks; Bonus Brothers; James Starks Sr., Brian Starks and sister Ty Starks. Damarlo was blessed with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and MANY FRIENDS.
