It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dallas Winford Burnette, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who passed away in his home on May 7, 2023 in Galax, VA.

Dallas was born on May 5, 1935 in Galax, VA to the late Elmer and Emma Burnette. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Wanda Burnette and their daughter, Teresa. He was a devoted father to his three surviving children, Gary, Charlene and Marshall. He was a proud grandfather to his five grandchildren, Farah, Majestic, Courtney, Matthew and Adreana. Dallas was a wonderful great-grandfather to his six great grandchildren Oliver, Mia, Gesnan, Aubree, Lyndsi and Brayden.
