Dale was known for their dedication to animals, both as a veterinarian and in their personal life. Their passion for furry creatures led to a house full of pets that could rival Noah's Ark. Dale finally retired in 2020, but not before leaving a lasting paw print on the veterinary community.

While serving in the Army, Dale discovered a talent for gardening that would bring them endless joy in their later years. They could often be found tending to their prized tomatoes or meticulously arranging their rose bushes, all while wearing socks with sandals – a fashion statement only Dale could pull off.
