Dale G. Keesling, 96Selma - Dale G. Keesling, 96, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.He was born on October 14, 1920, in Muncie, the son of Ralph and Juanita (Cunningham) Keesling.Dale graduated from Center High School. He married E. Jean Keesling on November 28, 1946, in Desoto at Jean's parents house.He was a member of Selma United Methodist Church and attended Christ United Methodist Church in Selma. Dale was a dairy and grain farmer, he was a substitute bus driver for Selma School Corporation, director at F.B.C.A., worked at Cline Hardware, and served as the caretaker and record keeper at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.Dale was a member of the Masons and Lions Club. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling and camping in Florida and Texas, spending time with family, he was an avid sports fan, and Friendly Stepper Square Dance.  Surviving are his two sons, Jim Keesling (wife, Bobbi) of Albany and Brian Keesling (wife, Mary) of Albany; five grandchildren, Theresa Wright (Joe), Wade Wright (wife, Kristi), Gwen Brannon, Shaun Keesling (lifelong partner, Kirstin Howell), and Kala Lee (husband, Chris); seven great-grandchildren, Payten, Dayten, Lala, Dylan, Lily, Mason, Tara; brother, Wendell Keesling; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, E. Jean Keesling, son, Bruce Keesling, brother, Paul Keesling, and sister, Mary Perry.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel or one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the mortuary.Memorial contributions may be made to Wapahani Athletics Club, 10401 E.
