We gather here today to bid farewell to Dale Mahone, born on December 12, 1983, and departed from this world on January 9, 2025. He resided in Detroit, Michigan, where he brought laughter and joy to those around him. Dale, affectionately known as the karaoke king, was a man of many talents. From his days at Martin Luther King Jr. High School to his time at Wayne State University, where he studied and pursued his passions, he always brought a smile to everyone he met. Dale worked as a Security Officer, upholding the law with a sense of humor that his colleagues will never forget. His dedication to his job was only matched by his love for playing the guitar and entertaining others with his karaoke renditions of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dell Gibbs, and his mother Patricia Mahone, his 3 older sisters Tammy, Devona, and Lenora and 2 younger brothers Kevin and Darren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Dale leaves behind no children of his own, but he will always be remembered for his infectious laughter and uplifting spirit.

As we say goodbye to Dale, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives and cherish the memories we shared with him. Rest in peace, Dale, may your melodies continue to fill the heavens with laughter. Let your memory of your smile live on in the hearts and minds of ones that knows and Loves you.
