Dale Shotwell, age 82, of Durand, Michigan, passed away on May 12, 2024. He was born on March 3, 1942.

Dale graduated from T.L. Handy High School in 1960 before furthering his education at Ferris State University, where he graduated in 1964. He went on to have a successful career at General Motors, retiring in 1997.

Throughout his life, Dale also served in the United States Coast Guard and was a dedicated husband to Phyllis Shotwell, whom he married in 1968. They shared two children, Eric S. Covieo and Timothy Covieo, as well as four grandchildren.

In his free time, Dale enjoyed golfing, camping, and spending time with his family. He was a beloved member of his community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dale passed away peacefully in his sleep.
