On the morning of December 11, 2019 Daisy Ruth Mann Billups Lindsay past away peacefully to be with her Lord. She was born on December 10, 1940 in Jamaica, Virginia. 

   Daisy was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Cecelia Billups and her biological parents, Elizabeth and Irving Mann.

   She was a loving mother, wife, sister, and best friend to many. Daisy was a former employee of the Orange County Nursing Home in Orange, Virginia.

   Daisy is survived by her husband James Edward Lindsay of Barboursville, Virginia; her four children: a son, Mark V. Lindsay and wife Pamela of Charlottesville, Virginia; three daughters: Mrs. Shirletta C. Bowles and her husband Gregory of Culpepper, Virginia; Mrs. Melissa K. Waters and her husband William of Barbousville, Virginia; and Mrs. Jennifer E. Bowles and her husband Russell of Rochelle, Virginia. Daisy is also survived by her five siblings; two sisters: Mrs. Katherine Green of Middlesex, Virginia; and Mrs. Nettie M. Mann of King and Queen, Virginia; three brothers: Wilbert Jones of Westmoreland, Virginia; Othar Mann of Gloucester, Virginia; and James Mann of Richmond, Virginia. She leaves behind fourteen grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
