Dagmara U. Ziobro, born on July 24, 1944, in Poland, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois. She was 81 years old.

Dagmara dedicated her life to helping others, a passion evidenced by her professional endeavors which included working as a caretaker for the elderly and, later, serving as a court translator for recent immigrants, drawing on her experience as an immigrant to ease the experience of others.

Dagmara is survived by her loving husband, Walter Ziobro; her daughters Renee (Steve) Gryczynski, Ramona Bratz, and Jolanda (Chad) Hannah; and her cherished grandchildren David and Olivia Gryczynski, Jacob and Dominic Troiani, Annalise Bratz and Baileigh, Nathan, and Abagail Hannah.

Dagmara’s legacy of compassion will live on through her family and those she positively impacted throughout her life. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

 Memorial arrangements will include a private celebration of her life, with details to be shared by the family.
