We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Da'Mya Cummerlander, who was born on May 1, 2006, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. Da'Mya tragically passed away on June 2, 2024, at the young age of 18.

Da'Mya was the beloved daughter of Daron Cummerlander and Monique Thompson. She had no children of her own but was a cherished family member and friend to many.

Da'Mya attended New Albany High School and graduated in 2023. She was a dedicated student who worked hard to achieve her goals and dreams.

Unfortunately, Da'Mya's life was cut short due to a senseless act of violence. Our hearts are heavy with grief as we mourn the loss of such a bright and promising young soul.

Da'Mya will be remembered for her kind spirit, infectious smile, and unwavering determination. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
