Cynthia D. Cochran, 65, peacefully gained her wings after a courageous battle with bladder cancer. She was born on February 17, 1960, in Alabama, and later made her home in California, where she built a life centered around love, strength, and family.
Cynthia was a devoted and loving mother to her three daughters, Rotisha Cochran and Lashonna Cochran, Kevinesha Cochran, who were her heart and greatest pride. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Aloni Cochran, Laniyah Cochran, Leanne, and KingKaiden Cochran McZeal. Her grandchildren brought her endless joy, and she loved watching them grow and shine.
Cynthia was loving, caring, and incredibly smart. She was straight to the point, honest, and real in every way. She was a great listener, a loyal friend, and a devoted sister. She had a spunky spirit, a down-to-earth soul, and a sense of humor that could light up any room. Cynthia was a beautiful dancer who loved music and wasn’t afraid to enjoy life on her own terms. She was what many would call a rolling stone — strong, free-spirited, and full of life experiences.
She loved being around her family, going out to eat, listening to music, and enjoying the simple moments that made life meaningful. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and peace to those around her. She was a protector, a safe place, and the backbone of her family.
Cynthia leaves behind her daughters, Rotisha Cochran and Lashonna Cochran; her beloved grandchildren, Aloni Cochran, Laniyah Cochran, Leanne, and KingKaiden Cochran McZeal; and a host of family, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
Though she is no longer here in body, her spirit lives on in the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the memories that will never fade.
Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. Rest peacefully, Mom.
