It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Curtis Gene Brogi, on June 28, 2024.

Born on February 16, 1968, in Orange California. Curtis is survived by his father Robert O. Brogi, his three sisters, Velida, Sharon, and Debra. In addition, he leaves behind six children and eleven grandchildren. Curt was a son, father grandfather, uncle, cousin and a friend.

Curtis was raised on Whidbey island but lived a majority of his adult life in Pierce County where he worked as a Welder, Crane & Forklift operator.

Curtis leaves behind a legacy that is as colorful as his tattoos. Curtis loved to eat, draw and was a well known tattoo artist, He designed Jewelry and enjoyed woodworking creating beautiful wooden Native American drums.

Curtis also enjoyed riding motorcycles, drinking beer, and of course, romancing women , He was a little bit of country and a little bit of rock ‘n’ roll.

Curtis‘s family had his remaines moved to Whidbey Island where he will be laid to rest next to his mother Alice Marie Brogi. At the Maple Leaf Cemetery in Oak Harbor, Washington.


Curtis graduated with highest honors from the Northwest Indian College with a degree Associate of Technical Arts in Chemical Dependency given in Bellingham Washington on December 12, 2014.

He continued his education and graduated with a degree of Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the Southern New Hampshire University, on first day of April 2017.

Curtis also achieved his Masters of Science in Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University on the first day of August 2019.

Curtis was also a member of the American welding Society.

Curtis was known for his strength, resilience, sarcastic sense of humor and rebellious spirit and artistic talent. His passion for riding motorcycles, drinking beer, and romancing women made Curt feel like the original gangsta.

As a tattoo artist, Curtis left his mark on countless individuals, forever etching his creativity into their skin. His love for the open road and the thrill of a fast ride will long be remembered by those who shared his passion.

While Curtis may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on in the memories of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, forever cruising through the clouds on his beloved motorcycle in the sky.
