Corey Russell, of Colwich, Kansas, passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 45. Born on June 10, 1979, Corey was the beloved son of George Russell and Sandy Volm. He was a loving husband to Laura Russell, whom he married in 1997, and a dedicated father to Jordan and Kaley Russell.

Corey was a proud graduate of Wellington High School, class of 1996, and went on to work at KTA and serve in the Air National Guard as a Captain. In his free time, Corey enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family.

Corey's infectious smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He brought joy and laughter to those around him and leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion.

Corey Russell's life was tragically cut short due to a car wreck, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
