Coreatta Wilson peacefully passed away on the evening of January 8th, 2018 in Indianapolis, IN. Her journey began, after being born to Rollin and Rose Barnett, on November 10, 1935, in Greensburg, KY. After relocating to Indianapolis, IN, Coraetta attended Butler University and later began a career at Indiana Bell that spanned more than 30 years.

She was a long time member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she faithfully served in various roles to help her church community. She had a profound impact on those she met, and likewise, was profoundly touched by the many people she called friends.

Coraetta leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, husband, Arthur Wilson; son, Scott Rollins (Hiedi); 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, cousins, church family, and a host of extended family and friends.

The visitation is Friday, January 12th, 2018, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11 a.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. The interment will follow at Washington Park North Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Bluitt and Son Funeral Home.
