This obituary is administered by:

A beautiful soul departed far too soon

Cooper Clark, of Indianapolis, IN, peacefully passed away in his family's home during the afternoon of August 25, 2023, in Indianapolis, IN. Cooper was born on March 26, 2016, at Ascension St. Vincent Women's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Cooper, at the beautiful age of seven, was a brilliant mind. He is loved by all his friends and family alike. Whether it was his warm hugs that would knock anyone over who wasn’t prepared, or his rather soft-spoken demeanor which brought a sense of calmness to any environment he entered. Cooper never wanted to be the center of attention, but his beautiful light shined much brighter than he would ever know.

“Coupe”, is how most loved ones referred to Cooper. Coupe loved being outdoors and was an early lover of nature. Most often seen peacefully lying in the grass of any field that he found palatable, Cooper enjoyed basking in the sun which earned him the nickname "Sun". While spending most of his time outside of school doing outdoor activities, Cooper was well-known around the neighborhood. Other children loved him, and adults always regarded him as special. Cooper had a beautiful spirit that was apparent to all he encountered despite still being so youthful and unaware of how truly blessed he was.

Cooper loved Sundays, being his favorite day to spend with his siblings. Sundays were always the same; his favorite breakfast was bacon and only bacon while watching his favorite movie, “All Dogs Go to Heaven “. Albeit being so quiet, his brothers and sisters could be heard all the time speaking of how Cooper would have them laughing for hours with the silly personality that he could turn on at any moment. He was truly a beacon of light in any room he entered, as soon as he entered it.

So loving, so kindhearted, Cooper’s energy was infectious to all who were blessed to experience it. Cooper was inspired & will be survived by his older brother, London C. Hamilton; older sister, Michelle M. Hamilton; younger brother, Sebastien D. Clark; his grandmother, Deborah D. Lott; his grandfather, Walter Lott; and his loving mother, Latreece N. Clark.

We love and miss you Sunflower.
