Conni BessConni Bess, age 54, a jeweler, died at her home in Ellensburg on July 28, 2015. She was born on July 22, 1961, in Everett, WA. Conni grew up and attended schools in Sultan, graduating from Sultan High School in 1979. She married Raleigh Bess on Sept. 23, 1983. Conni worked at Safeway for 21 years. She did arts and crafts before specializing in custom jewelry. Conni was actively involved with Gallery One. She enjoyed watching wildlife. Conni was a very loving, caring, and helpful person. Survivors include her husband, Raleigh Bess; parents, Jack and Helen Van Proyen, of Leavenworth, WA; sister, Luci Green, of Sultan, WA; brother, Steve Van Proyen, of Lake Stevens, WA; good friend, Michael Frederick; and Teddy, the Boston Terrier.
