Conley Canada93, passed away on July 8, 2017. He was born on December 1, 1923 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Conley graduated from Oolitic High School and served in World War II. He married Mary Jewell Davis on March 15, 1946. Together they owned Canada's Barber and Beauty Shop in Indianapolis for 34 years. After Mary retired, Conley continued barbering, totaling 50 years of service.Conley is survived by his daughter, Judy (John) Fraps; son, John (Lucy) Canada; grandchildren, Jeff (Cyndi) Canada, Jody Canada, Joe (Mekenzie) Canada, Bill (Stacy) Fraps, Marianne Fraps; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, five brothers, one sister, and a great grandson.A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 13 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W Moore Chapel, with visitation at 9:30 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Tabernacle Presbyterian Church Sports Field or the Carmel American Legion Post 155.
