Condit Brewer “CB” Overstreet Condit B. “CB” Overstreet, 65, passed away at his residence on January 3, 2013. CB was born on January 24, 1947 in Mercer County, Kentucky to the late Ollie V. Overstreet and Lula Belle Gordon. CB’s greatest love was spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids. He also enjoyed to travel, which he often was able to do when he worked as a truck driver and later at a carnival. But, most of all he will always be remembered as someone that was always willing to lend a helping hand to others when they needed it. He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Jill Overstreet; grandchildren, Cashmere, Dashaun, Alana, and Jaliyah; brothers, Donnie, Jimmy, Billy, and Ricky; sisters, Rita (Dale) Waldridge and Donna Sue (Tony) Stewart; step-mother, Wanda Spicer; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Heidi and Starla, and former wife, Debra Summerford. A memorial service in honor of CB will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 3:00pm. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home from 1:00pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
