With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cody Brodus, who was born on January 7, 1986 in Newport News, Virginia, United States. Cody tragically left this world on July 28, 2025.

Cody was a loving parent to their two children, Dakota Brodus and Aquavious Carter. He is also remembered by his three step children from the mother, Shamia Hawkins, Savion Hawkins, Teriyona Hawkins, and Love Hawkins. They were a dedicated individual who studied at Warwick High School and proudly graduated in 2004. Cody had a passion for basketball and spent many hours on the court, honing their skills and connecting with others through the sport.

Although Cody faced struggles in life, they always showed strength and resilience. Unfortunately, Cody ultimately succumbed to their inner demons and chose to end their own life. The world has lost a bright soul, and their absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved them.
