Clifford Eugene "Gene" Galloway, Sr. passed away on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 in Marrero. He was born on Oct. 30, 1929, in Covington to the late Clifford E. Galloway and Ethel Felts Galloway.Gene was married to his beloved wife, the late Mable Leonhard Galloway, for 62 years. He was the loving father of Ken Hernandez and Clifford Galloway, Jr. (Joan). Gene was the proud grandfather of Rene' Hernandez, Claire Galloway and Carson Galloway. He was the brother of the late Betty Welsh.Relatives and friends are invited to the Liturgy of the Word at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, La., today at 11 a.m. with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.
