YOUNGCletus B. Jr. “Sonny” Cletus B. “Sonny” Young Jr., age 88, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Monday, October 31, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. He was born on December 6, 1927 to Cletus Sr. and Lillian (Imber) Young in Toledo. Sonny was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Two of his favorite jobs were at The Toledo Hospital working Valet and at JC Penney. Sonny enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, especially 31, euchre and playing Bunco. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, C.B.; 3 great-grandchildren; and 7 siblings. Sonny is survived by his loving children, Diana Tumey, Debbie (Ricky) Wohlgamuth, Mike Young, Bobby (Barb) Young, Patty (Dave) Keen, Sandy (Jeff) Pawloski, Lisa (Steve) Rhoades and Pat (Lynn) Young; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Judy (Paul) Camp; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Prayers will begin Friday in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 4555 North Haven Ave., Toledo. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
