Cleda Kissnerage 94, peacefully passed away at home in Indianapolis, surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at 3:30am.  She was born on Oct. 20, 1921, in Clay County, Kentucky, to Ed Smith and Lucreasie (Hubbard) Smith. Cleda was a dedicated Christian and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. She moved to Indianapolis where she worked as a seamstress and retired from C.H. Ellis Company.  Cleda was honest, caring and showed unconditional love to her family.  She was loved dearly and will be deeply missed.  She was preceded in death by husband Elmer Kissner and son Daryl Bargo.  Cleda is survived by children Jean Cox, Betty Richey, Candie Caine, Don Bargo and Ronnie Bargo. Her lineage includes 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home. Funeral services are Sat., Sept. 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care.
