Claude Gelinas, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 8, 2025, in his hometown of Timmins, Ontario, Canada. Born on December 20, 1947, to Karl and Audith Gelinas, Claude lived a full and joyful life surrounded by family and friends.
After retiring from his career as a heavy equipment operator in 2000, Claude dedicated his time to serving his community through his involvement in the Knights of Columbus organization. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping others.
In his free time, Claude enjoyed working with wood, creating beautiful pieces that will be treasured by his loved ones for years to come. He had a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship that was truly inspiring.
Claude is survived by his three children, Linda, Andree, and Donald, and his eight adoring grandchildren. Although their names may not be mentioned here, they were a source of immense joy and pride for Claude, who loved nothing more than spending time with his family.
