We are saddened to announce the passing of Clarissa Devons, who left this world on May 13, 2025. She was born on July 27, 2009, in New York, New York, to her loving parents, Joshua Edward Devons and Lauren Ann Devons.

Clarissa attended Edgewater High School, she was set to graduate in 2027. She went on to work at a summer camp before retiring in 2024. Throughout her life, Clarissa dedicated her time to helping others, volunteering with the New York/New Jersey Trail Conference organization and earning the Venture Scout award.

Clarissa had a passion for running and hiking, spending much of her free time on the trails she loved so dearly. She was known for her adventurous spirit and kind heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Unfortunately, Clarissa's light was extinguished too soon due to a tragic accident. She passed away from a head injury sustained after falling down stairs. While she may no longer be with us, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
