Clare Hunter, 69, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed on April 11, 2022. Clare was born on March 19, 1953. Clare was without a doubt an Angel on Earth and has left her mark on the entire community. Saving the youth was her mission in life and she stayed true to this mission up until her last breathe. Just 3 days before her passing over 20 children were invited into her home to participate in her monthly Gardening Party. Clare remained true to her community in Memphis, TN despite the growing gun violence in her immediate neighborhood. None of us would have guessed that Clare would be taken from us by a stray bullet during a gang shoot out but as Clare always said "life is full of rainy days and sunshine and we should appreciate them all." You will forever be missed and loved "Neighborhood Mama"
