It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Tammen, born on November 7, 1962, in Lufkin, Texas, United States. She peacefully departed from this world on September 4, 2025.

Cindy was the beloved daughter of Bob and Nancy Taylor. She married the love of her life, Jodie Dean Tammen, in 1981. Together, they shared a beautiful life and raised seven wonderful children: Michael, Christan, Jodie, Brandon, Hanna, Nichol, and Sarah.

Cindy was a devoted mother and grandmother, leaving behind seven cherished grandchildren. She attended Crowley High School and graduated in 1980 before pursuing her education at the University of Texas, where she graduated in 1984.

Throughout her life, Cindy worked diligently at Lufkin Family Dental, where she dedicated herself to providing care and comfort to her patients. She retired from her passion in 2012.

Among her many interests, Cindy had a special love for horseback riding. She found solace and joy in spending time with her equine companions.

Cindy will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

May she rest in peace.
