Sharon "Chyrel" Mcleod, born on July 21, 1961, in Los Angeles, California, passed away on April 29, 2024, in Pomona, California, at the age of 62. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Chyrel's smile could light up a room, and her presence brought joy to all those around her.

Chyrel was preceded in death by her father Elbert Mcleod, mother Virgie Mcleod, little sister Joann Mcleod, and two nephews. She is survived by her only child, Shawnta Lauderale, and her four grandchildren, Aylesaya, Rayshawn, Elijah, and Zamya. Chyrel is also survived by her two sisters, Deborah Mcleod and Gail Mcleod.

A graduate of the University of Cal State Fullerton, Chyrel dedicated 34 years of hard work serving Los Angeles County. Her commitment to her community and her family was unwavering. Chyrel's legacy of love and kindness will be cherished and remembered forever.

Services for Chyrel will include a viewing on May 3, 2024, at South Los Angeles Mortuary, located at 1020 W 94th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90044.

A memorial will be held on June 8, 2024, at 12pm at Gethsemane Christian Love, situated at 9616 South Avalon Blvd, Los Angeles, 90003.

Chyrel's impact on those around her was profound, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
