1. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christy Lynn McGhee Vaughan, she was born on April 23, 1970, in Corsicana, Texas, She passed away on February 11, 2025.

Christy was the beloved daughter of James Arthur McGhee and Linda Gaynelle Weaver. She is survived by her loving son Colton Jon TePoel and wife Heather Ann TePoel. Their two children Brianna Lea and Cameron James TePoel. Daughter, Kassidy Lynn Vaughan, and her girls Rowan Faye Vaughan and Rynn Elizabeth Acker. Her grandchildren were here pride and joy.

Christy attended Corsicana High School and continued her education at Nursing school. She had a successful career as an LVN for 25 years, where she dedicated herself to caring for others.

Beyond her work, Christy had a passion for reading, attending concerts, and spending quality time with her family and friends, especially the ones who called her Granny.

Christy's warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Christy Lynn passed away due to complications from pneumonia. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
