We gather here today to celebrate the life of Christopher Hendrix, who passed away on January 22, 2026, after a valiant battle with a heart attack. Born on December 22, 1963, in Joplin, Missouri, Christopher was the beloved son of Bill and Lavon Hendrix.

Christopher was a devoted husband to his loving spouse, Sheri Lea Grace Baggett-Hendrix, whom he married in 1993. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Kylah Brown, Dakota Hendrix, Austin Hendrix, and Tyler Hendrix. He also leaves behind four adoring grandchildren.

Christopher had a great sense of humor and was known for his love of joking around and making people laugh. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting hoops with his kids, camping, watching Kansas City dominate in the NFL and MLB, taking naps, and selling antiques.

Christopher also proudly served in the National Guard, a role that he cherished and took great pride in.

While our hearts are heavy with grief, let us also remember the joy and laughter that Christopher brought into our lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
