We are saddened to announce the passing of Christopher Hendrix on July 9th, 2024 in Joplin, Missouri. Born on December 22nd, 1970 to William "Bill" and Lavon Hendrix, Chris lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by love.

He married his high school sweetheart, Sheri Hendrix, in 1991 and together they raised four children: Kylah and Tim Brown, Dakota, Austin and Andrea Hendrix, and Tyler Hendrix. Chris adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them, watching them grow and learn.

Chris had a passion for serving his country and proudly served in the National Guard. When he wasn't busy with his military duties, Chris enjoyed watching baseball, coaching basketball, golfing, and hunting for treasures at garage sales. But above all, he cherished spending time with his family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Chris will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Chris passed away from complications due to diabetes, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
