Christopher J. "CJ" Dawley1997 - 2015Christopher J. "CJ" Dawley, 17, of Salem, Wis., died Monday morning Jan. 5, 2015, at his home.Christopher James Dawley was born on Feb. 13, 1997, in Burlington, Wis., the son of Christopher A. and Donna L. Atkins Dawley. CJ has been a lifelong resident of the Powers Lake/Salem area and was a senior at Central High School in Paddock Lake. CJ worked as a groundskeeper/cart attendant for Hawks View Golf Course in Lake Geneva and as a busboy at Texas Roadhouse in Kenosha.CJ was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in New Munster. He was active at Central High School and loved golfing, volleyball, woods and metal class and active in AP and Honors Classes. He had a great sense of humor. He formerly played baseball with the Lakeland Little League and played quarterback for the Bulldogs Football team. His greatest loves were his car, his tractor and fixing and taking things apart. He enjoyed boating, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, tubing, camping and just loved the outdoors. He was the "mighty hunter".CJ is survived by his parents, Christopher and Donna Dawley of Salem, Wis.; three sisters, Christina (Jeff) Patton of Fort Atkinson, Wis., Shannon and Haley Dawley of Salem, Wis., and one brother, Nicholas Dawley of Salem, Wis.; two nephews, CJ and Gabe; many aunts and uncles.He was preceded in death by one brother, Aaron; three uncles, Tim Dawley, David Dawley and Jay Atkins.A gathering of friends will be held from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday January 17, 2015 at Crossway Community Church 13905 75th St. Bristol, WI 53104. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. at the church. Memorial remembrances may be made to Just Live, Inc. 8003 328th Ave. Burlington, WI. 53105. The Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes is serving the Dawley Family.
