75 passed away on November 2, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. Christina was born on August 22, 1941 in North Carolina, but was a long time resident of Santa Barbara since 1957. Christina helped many people of all ages and had her own business taking care of foster kids, the mentally challenged and the elderly. In 1995, she received her certificate for the Missionary Awareness Institute, which was fitting, as her favorite place to go was to church to worship the Lord. In 2010, she resided with her daughter Debbie in Arizona due to her illness. On Wednesday, November 2, 2016, she went to join our Father in Heaven and was reunited with her husband Roy Lewis, daughter Alisa Sutton, mother Marretta Walker and brother Brice Philyaw. Christina leaves behind daughters Christa Lee Sutton and Debra Ann Sutton, a host of loving relatives, friends, grand and great grand children who will miss her dearly. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at Bethel Church of God in Christ at 236 E Cota St, Santa Barbara CA 93101. A graveside will follow at Goleta Cemetery 44 S San Antonio Rd, Santa Barbara CA 93110.
