Christina Ann Rowland, 53, passed away peacefully at her home in Huffman, TX after a two year battle with cancer. She was born on September 22, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio to Walter and Dorothy Bellamy who both precede her in death. She was a 1977 graduate from Waite High School in Toledo. She drove a school bus for Toledo public schools where she made many friends. Christina loved caring for others and got her CNA license after she herself cared for her oldest son through his own battle with cancer at the age of 13. Chris had many loves in her life and one of those was shopping! Whether it was clothes or just things for her home, she truly enjoyed a bargain! She also enjoyed riding motorcycles and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ralph, Richard, Walt and Stephen Bellamy. Christina is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Raymond C. Rowland; children, Donald Rowland of Summerville, SC, Stephen Rowland and wife Cearrah of Memphis, TN, Sam Rowland of Huffman, TX; grandchildren, Raylen, Kayleigh, Skyler, Kora, Braxton and Shyann; sisters, Rosemary Price and husband Robert of Devil's Lake MI, Gloria Bellamy of Toledo, OH; brother, Leonard Pod of MI; numerous other relatives and a host of loving friends. A memorial service was held in Christina's honor on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Charles Flanagan officiating. It was Christina's wishes to have her ashes scattered in the hills of Tennessee and in her hometown of Toledo.
