Christina Armstrong, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on December 27, 2025 in Norfolk, Virginia at the age of 75. Born on August 8, 1950 to George and Jona Armstrong, Christina grew up in Norfolk and attended I.C. Norcom High School where she excelled in academics and her love for singing was discovered.
She went on to marry the love of her life, Richard Armstrong, in the year 20 and together they raised two wonderful children, Terrsita and Kraig Armstrong. Christina was also a proud grandmother to two grandchildren Diamond Armstrong and Akia Armstrong, who she adored with all her heart.
Throughout her life, Christina dedicated herself to helping others, working as a pastor and volunteering with the Helping Hand organization. Her kind and compassionate nature touched the lives of many in the Norfolk community.
Christina had a passion for music and could often be found singing her favorite tunes around the house, bringing joy to all who heard her. She had a great sense of humor and could always be counted on to lighten the mood with her quick wit and infectious laughter.
Despite battling asthma for many years, Christina never let it slow her down. She faced every challenge with grace and determination, inspiring those around her with her strength and resilience.
Christina will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, dear Christina, may your beautiful voice continue to sing in heaven.
